It seems that everyone has fallen in love, all over again, with Aubrey Plaza! That is, everyone who was lucky enough to view the opening of her new film, Safety Not Guaranteed, at the Sundance Film Festival in Texas last March. From the trailers, I completely get the flow of all this Aubrey-love: she is wry and snarky - the perfect combination of funny, badass and beautiful.
Aubrey can wear a hoody sweatshirt and still be sexy in an off-hand, come-hither way. Here she is wearing indigo blue, which represents spiritual enlightenment and protection - with a casual, survivalist dress in camoflage, zebra stripes. And as we all know, zebra stripes say quite clearly, “I am all about confidence!”
Aubrey Plaza = charm factor!
In a scene from the film, Safety Not Guaranteed, chatting with leading man, Mark Duplass, Aubrey is dressed in monochromatic gray, which few people can carry off well. But when gray works, as it does for Aubrey, it subtly expresses her independance and an espirit which sets her apart from the pack.
Safety Not Guaranteed is set for realease this summer, June 8th. Cant’ wait to see it!
